HDMI Licensing Administrator, Inc., commonly known as HDMI LA, plays a central role in managing and supporting the worldwide ecosystem of HDMI® Technology. As the organization appointed to license the HDMI Specifications by both the HDMI Founders and the HDMI Forum, HDMI LA helps ensure that manufacturers, retailers, installers, and consumers can rely on HDMI-enabled products for high-quality audio and video connectivity across a broad range of consumer electronics, commercial AV, automotive, gaming, and computing products.
HDMI Technology has become the global standard for transmitting high-definition video, immersive audio, and advanced entertainment features through a single cable connection. Billions of products around the world — including HDTVs, gaming consoles, PCs, laptops, soundbars, AV receivers, cameras, and streaming devices — use HDMI connectivity.
