Program Overview
The Fujifilm GFX Challenge Grant Program is now accepting applications for its 2026 edition, inviting emerging and established visual storytellers to turn meaningful ideas into reality.
Launched in 2021, the program supports photographers and filmmakers pursuing projects with a strong creative vision. Applicants may submit proposals in either still photography or motion picture formats, with selected projects receiving funding, equipment, and mentorship to bring their ideas to life.
Completed projects will be showcased on FUJIFILM-X.com, with additional international exhibitions planned to highlight award recipients' work.
Grant Awards
The 2026 program recognizes 15 creators across two award categories:
Global Grant Award (5 recipients)
- $10,000 grant
- Complimentary use of a Fujifilm GFX System camera body
- Complimentary use of two GF lenses for the duration of the project
- Mentorship and technical support from Fujifilm technicians and product experts
Regional Grant Award (10 recipients)
- $5,000 grant
- Complimentary use of a Fujifilm GFX System camera body
- Complimentary use of two GF lenses for the duration of the project
- Mentorship and technical support from Fujifilm technicians and product experts

How to Apply
Application Period: June 16 – August 17, 2026
Applicants are invited to submit a project proposal centered on a story or theme they are passionate about exploring.
Whether you're working in documentary, fine art, portraiture, or filmmaking, the program is designed to help creators transform ideas into completed work while gaining hands-on experience with the Fujifilm GFX System.
