Festival Overview

The Reel Champions Shorts Fest (TRCSF) is back for its 2026 edition, continuing its mission to spotlight films created by women and non-binary filmmakers while building stronger pathways for underrepresented voices in entertainment.

Taking place as a 2-day in-person festival in October 2026, TRCSF brings together filmmakers, audiences, collaborators, and industry professionals for screenings, networking, and community-driven programming.

The festival’s Extended Submission Deadline is Friday, May 15.

Whether you’re looking to showcase your work, expand your network, or gain industry visibility, TRCSF offers filmmakers the opportunity to connect within a supportive and collaborative creative space.

Awards & Opportunities

Selected films will be eligible for awards and prizes, with previous offerings including:

  • $10,000 Keslow Camera Gear Certificate
  • 5-Day Hektor Lens Rental from Leitz
  • Scriptation Annual License
  • One-Year Membership to Alliance of Women Directors

To qualify, films must include a woman or non-binary creative in at least one Crew Head role.
