ReelShort, the first vertical streaming platform dedicated to cinematic short-form storytelling, has launched a Global Contest designed to spotlight emerging and established filmmakers.

This is an incredible opportunity to:

What You Need to Know

Submissions must be original, vertical videos (9:16) between 45–90 seconds, in MP4 or MOV format.

**Contest runs from July 18 – October 16, 2025

The contest features 4 theme-based award categories and 3 special award categories.

  • Theme Awards (200 winners total) include up to $10,000 cash plus ReelShort VIP subscriptions.
  • Special Awards include the Best Series Award (up to $50,000), Editorial Honor Awards, and Student Creator Awards.
